Perched across the scenic heights of Mount Lebanon, Baysour is a distinguished historic town in the Aley District renowned for its ancient pine forests, verdant river valley, and olive groves. Derived from Aramaic and Syriac roots meaning 'House of the Potter' (Bayt Fakhouri) or 'The Fortress/Wall', the town has preserved over a thousand years of civil leadership, stone craftsmanship, and cultural distinction.
